Description Bitumen AC10
Bitumen AC10 refers to a specific grade of bitumen categorized based on its penetration value, which measures its hardness or consistency. It has excellent adhesive properties, making it ideal for applications requiring strong bonding. AC 10 is a designed bituminous asphalt which is mostly used in hot climate because the viscosity is high.
AC grades indicated viscosity at 60 °C actually the number after AC showed 0.01 absolute viscosity in poises at 60 °C. For instance, AC-5 means the bituminous asphalt cement has viscosity of 500 poises at 60°C.
