About Zumrut International Kimya
Zumrut International Kimya has supplied bitumen and petroleum products since 2011, built around a straightforward idea — that buyers deserve a supplier who actually knows the product, not just the price list.
We started with oxidized bitumen and gilsonite, two products where sourcing quality and consistency genuinely matter. Oxidized grades are judged by a softening point and a penetration figure that either hold across the batch or do not, and gilsonite by its ash and volatile content. Neither forgives a supplier who treats specification as a formality.
Over time the range expanded, not because we wanted a longer catalog, but because our clients needed a single point of contact they could rely on across a project.
Our supply position is not purely trading. We hold ownership in a gilsonite mine and a bitumen refinery, and shareholding positions in paraffin wax and petroleum jelly production facilities. Having a stake in what gets produced means we can speak to availability and consistency directly, rather than passing on whatever a broker chain hands us.
What we supply
Oxidized bitumen
The full blown range from 85/25 through 115/15 to 150/5, for roofing membrane, pipe coating, adhesives and industrial flooring.
Penetration grades
60/70 and 80/100 under ASTM D946, 50/70 and 35/50 under EN 12591, plus harder grades for extreme heat.
Gilsonite
Lump, granulated and micronized powder for drilling fluid, well cementing, ink, paint, foundry and asphalt modification.
Emulsion and cutback
Cationic and anionic emulsions under ASTM D977 and D2397, and the full cutback range in rapid, medium and slow curing.
Modified binders
Polymer modified bitumen, crumb rubber modified, PG grades under Superpave and VG grades under IS 73.
Membrane and drilling
APP and SBS roll sheet for waterproofing, plus bentonite and barite for drilling mud.
Where we load and where we ship
We load from Jebel Ali in the UAE and Mersin and Iskenderun in Turkey, shipping regularly to West, East and Southern Africa, South and Southeast Asia, the GCC and wider Middle East, the Black Sea and Caucasus, and into Europe and Latin America on a project basis.
Origin matters for more than freight distance. It determines the certificate of origin you receive, which affects duty treatment and, in some markets, whether the cargo is acceptable at all. How we work
Most of our clients are industrial buyers — road contractors, construction material importers, drilling companies, ink and paint manufacturers — who need reliable volume, consistent specification and documentation that clears customs without drama.
We are not the right fit for every buyer. If you need spot quantities with no technical follow-up, there are faster options. But if you source regularly and want a supplier who holds grade, meets schedules and answers when something needs sorting, that is where we tend to work well.
Certificate of analysis before loading
Batch-specific, with lot number, production date and each measured result against the standard your contract names — not a typical-values sheet.
Independent inspection on request
SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or the surveyor named in your contract, attending at the load port.
Grade advice, including when to spend less
If a harder grade would only add brittleness, or emulsion makes no economic sense over your distance, we say so before quoting.
Documentation that clears
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, chamber-attested certificate of origin and safety data sheet, matched to your market's requirements.
