Description of Paraffin Wax 1-2% Oil Content

Semi refined paraffin wax 1-2% oil content or semi refined paraffin wax of which oil content is from 1% to 7% and melting point 58/60, 60/62 or 62/64 C. our paraffin colors differ from snow white transparent to yellow depending its oil content and being heavy or light grade, which is related to the melting point of the raw material used.

Heavy or light slack waxes as the raw material have the impression on the melting point of semi refined paraffin wax 1-2% oil content, between 58 to 64°C. These differences allow to the customers to choose inquired paraffin wax according to its own country temperature and location.

Application of Paraffin Wax 1-2% Oil Content

Paraffin wax 1-2% oil content commonly use in candle making because of its own property such as proper oil content, whitening grade.

Semi-refined Paraffin wax 1-2% oil content is used for making high-quality candles, container candles, cosmetic industries, PVC pipe and fitting producing, Paint Industries, coating, and polishing.

It is used in food packaging as a coating/lamination for folding cartons, corrugated containers, flexible packaging, paper cups and food containers. This wax layer is required for its water resistance, oil-proofing, and the barrier against odors and gases. Specialized paraffin wax developed for this purpose is tasteless and odorless.

Storage and Handling

Semi Refined Paraffin wax is best stored in a dark place to prevent color change. Avoid breathing fumes or vapor from molten material, as it can accumulate static charges and cause electrical sparks. High temperatures may deform paraffin wax slabs. Heat above its flash point and avoid flames and open electrical coils. The best way to handle paraffin wax is carton box packing on pallets with shrinkage, as it is strong and safe for transport.

Packing of Paraffin Wax 1-2% Oil Content

Paraffin wax 1-2% oil content produced in 5 kg slab form and packing is normally 25 KG or 30 Kg carton box. In some cases according to the customer order we use pp (polypropylene) bags or gunny to decrease the packing costs and there is the possibility of palatalizing too for this product.
