Bitumen Grades We Supply
We offer the following bitumen grades, which are selected to meet Cameroon’s climatic and infrastructural requirements:
Penetration Grade 60/70 & 80/100:
Best suited for road construction in regions with moderate to heavy rainfall. Penetration 60/70 is stronger at high temperatures and best suited for lowland urban areas like Douala and Kribi, while 80/100 has better uses in cooler high-altitude regions like Bamenda or Bafoussam.
Oxidized Bitumen (Blown Bitumen 85/25, 90/40, 115/15)
Oxidized (Blown) Bitumen is extensively used in construction and industrial sectors throughout Cameroon, particularly for waterproofing and insulation. We offer different grades of oxidized bitumen like 85/25, 90/40, and 115/15:
115/15: More severe classification with higher softening point; best suited to hot conditions and heavy-duty application such as roof membrane production, steel pipe coating, and insulation in industry used in humid seaside cities like Douala, Kribi, and Limbe.
85/25: Offers balanced hardness and flexibility; suitable for moderate climatic conditions and general waterproofing applications.
90/40: Provides higher heat resistance; used in areas with more intense sunlight and warmer ambient temperatures, e.g., coastal regions.
They cannot be used to make roads but are required to waterproof areas subject to damp environments and require prolonged heat resistance.
Viscosity Grade VG10 & VG30
VG10 is typically used for surface dressing and spraying in less extreme areas, while VG30 is used for paving highways to Yaoundé or Garoua with heavy traffic and severe heat.
Cutback Bitumen & Emulsions (CRS, CMS):
Recommended for areas of standing water or saturated-humid regions of recurring rains, especially for emergency or instant repair as well as general upkeep in moist or damp zones. Grades suitable about coastal zones and seaport-entry highways near Limbe and Kribi.

Price of Bitumen in Cameroon
The price of bitumen in Cameroon is influenced by several key factors, including fluctuations in crude oil prices, ocean freight costs, the price of vacuum bottom (VB), and the type of packaging used. Among the different bitumen grades, the price of bitumen 60/70 serves as the benchmark, as it is the lowest and forms the base price for other grades. The price of cutback bitumen, on the other hand, depends on the cost of its primary raw materials.
Our payment Term
Our terms of payment are TT/30% in advance and balance after a copy of BL. This secures 30% of the payment in advance while the remaining balance is settled when a copy of the Bill of Lading has been availed, ensuring goods are in transit and well documented.
